Business - the soul at work
Rose Averill is an award winning CEO and business owner of a multi-million dollar business. In this position, Rose is uniquely focused on the mission that God gave her to, "create a living template for the soul at work".

Rose had no experience, training or education in business or in the health care industry. With a 100% learning curve, not even knowing what she didn't know, Rose leaped forward. She and her husband mortgaged everything they had ever earned and owned for this work that was guided by God.

St. Francis Sleep, Allergy and Lung Institute was founded with a mission to create a place for the mind, body and soul. Rose created a physical environment that is unabashedly Catholic and opens and invites patients, visitors and staff to engage in the spiritual. Right off of the main entrance, there is a lovely prayer chapel. Books, CDs, rosaries, miraculous medals and green scapulars are freely shared. And prayers are frequently offered.

Since a template is something that is created to help replicate, Rose has been reaching out to business owners and health care professionals with a desire to help them get closer to God so that they can more clearly see how they can live out their faith in their work.

Rose's story of how God dramatically called her and what God made flourish, even though she had nothing to give but her yes, is one of the powerful "His-Stories" that Rose has to share.

Service & Charity
Rose has a long history of being a volunteer and seeking to serve others.

When her children were young Rose involved them in various service opportunities such as, visiting patients in nursing homes, delivering food to needy people, making layettes for a pregnancy center, serving Thanksgiving dinner to needy families and being volunteer counselors at a camp for homeless children.

In 2000, seeing a need that homeless children had for shoes, Rose purchased new sneakers and loaded them in her minivan, and with her children, she began distributing them to children at homeless shelters. This endeavor grew into Footprints Ministry, a charity that for over a decade, provided hundreds of thousands of new shoes to needy and homeless children.

In her business, St. Francis Medical Institute, a focus of the management meeting is on how the corporal and spiritual works of mercy are being lived out in the workplace. One of the many results of this focus is an onsite food pantry for needy that is supplied by the company and its staff.

Rose has launched a new charity called St. Francis Hope and Health Ministry. The purpose of this ministry is to promote and support mind, body and soul health. Through this vehicle she hopes to be able to accomplish a variety of activities such as the creation of a medical mission in Belize and providing spiritual programs, retreats and pilgrimages.

All money obtained during and for Rose's speaking engagements, Rose wants to go to Kingdom work , and will be donated to St. Francis Hope and Health Ministry
